About Baccarat
Baccarat was founded in approximately 1483, and has become more popular over the years being available in most of the Casinos worldwide. The game is not difficult to play, however it does take time to perfect your game. Baccarat is a card game of chance, there is no need for skill in this version of the game. Each players moves are forced by the cards the
y have been dealt. The main objective is to wager that either the players hand will win, the Bankers hand will win or that the game will result in a tie.
Rules of Baccarat
1) The aim of the game is to predict if the Player or the Bankers hand will get a point value closest to 9.
2) In Baccarat remember that all ten value cards count as 0, and Aces count as 1.
3) The hand with the highest point value wins the game.
4) Every Player and Bank receives three hands of two cards each in every game.
5) A total of nine in the first two dealt cards is a perfect hand and cannot be beaten.
6) You can beat a natural eight with a natural nine only.
7) All bets become void in case of a tie unless any player has bet on a tie, which is a very rare occurrence.
8) You need to stand if your score is six or seven and hit if your card score is less than four.
Payout
Winning hands in Baccarat depend on the hand you bet on, and whether that hand wins.
If the hand you bet on wins, the payout is as follows:
- Hand Combination Payout
- Banker's Hand Wins 2x the bet - 5% commission on winnings for the House
- Player's Hand Wins 2x the bet
- Tie 8x the bet
If the hand that you bet on wins, you are paid double your bet, unless you bet on a tie. If you bet on a tie, the payout is eight times the amount you bet. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and win, the House charges a 5% commission.
If you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands tie, your bet is returned to you.
